Can today possibly go by any slower??? I'm missing her so much!! They assured me they won't be using a heating pad after surgery and will monitor her temp often. During surgery, they use a "water bed" to keep her warm. They called me about an hour ago and said she does have two retained canines and got my permission to extract them and said they will call me again around lunchtime with an update. I know exactually how you feel and sending you both loads of hugs.
My Chelsea girl was spayed on Monday. (She's 14 so I was extra worried) She was very sleepy and drooled a lot when I picked her up at 4:30pm Monday. I had to keep her warm even though its Summer here - she was a bit cold that night. The next day I gave her some pain killers, but I had to keep her calm.....she wanted to run around! The sticky bandage was taken off today. It's amazing how little the scar actually is. She is still sore though. She gets the stitches out in 10 days. I can't wait to bath her already! LOL |

They just called and said she is doing great. I get to pick her up at 4. I can't wait!!!!

Yes, I am so excited!! I can't wait to hold her!! I have a playpen ready in the den with her bed and potty pad. Right after I got it ready, our cat, Meeko, made himself at home in her bed, lol. I might have to put him in another room when we get back.

& all is well. Girl, I know that waiting is awful. With penny's spay, I had to wait till next am, he likes to examine them next am.
