Roo Update - Maltese Dogs Forum : Spoiled Maltese Forums

Well...Roo is still with us. He's had more good days than bad, so we've kept trucking along. We should have the results of his latest labwork any day now. Last night he started coughing, moaning, and crying when I picked him up. X-rays today show at the least bacterial bronchitis if not the starts of pneumonia. We started him on antibiotics immediately and send his x-rays for a more thorough review.

Continued prayers for precious Roo. So sorry he is going through this. Thank goodness he was put on antibiotics right away....hugs to you and Roo.

Jackie i'm glad to hear that Roo has had more good days then bad...i'm sorry to hear that he may have the beginnings of pneumonia...he's so very lucky to have you as his mommy. I will continue to pray for Roo and your family.

Praying for Roo. I hope the antibiotics take care of the bronchitis and prevent pneumonia.

Roo is such a fighter! I hope that the antibiotics kick the pneumonia in the bud quickly~ I am thinking of you guys and hope and pray that Roo only continues to improve
