I hope someone here can help us! We have the best Maltese dog. His name is Snowball. His sister, Tinkerbell was born a year later and is 9 months old now.
Our problem is that Tinkerbell plays well with her brother and with toys, etc. She, unlike her brother, does not want to play with us. Snowball loves Fetch and plays catch. He has so many "doggie games" and makes us laugh. She just does not care. The above is to give background that the following issues are NOT because she has no one to play with. Tinkerbell and Snowball play well together. OK, now the problem. After 9 months Tinkerbell thinks the that any place in our house is a Potty. When she goes outside on the porch potty, she runs in as she knows she gets a treat of peanut butter. But, she will still go in the house. I did not want this to be a long post but I did want to give background. Here is the BIG PROBLEM! She now is starting to bite our textured walls!! She is leaving big holes on the wallboard and today she started getting down to the paper on the wallboard. Has anyone ever heard of this and is there any way to stop this? We do want to keep her but do not know how much longer we can put up with this. The big problem is that her brother is so good in every way, but we spend all day watching for her next mess or wondering what she is getting into now. After 9 months she does not seem to want to learn anything!! OH, and she has been to "school". |

You can spray bitter apple on the areas where she can reach to deter her chewing. It sounds like she needs to go back to the basics for house training. Good luck, plus she's in the rotten teen age years , it will pass.

I think you should think about a positive behavioralist for your little angel. It might also be good to give her more exercise and really tire her out. It sounds like she may be bored even though she has a brother to play with. A trainer will be cheaper than the damages to your house. |

It doesn't stain at all! I've sprayed it on everything, from furniture to woodwork to my shoelaces!
