My son is home from college for the break. I had thought at first Ari would stop his barking at Tyler once he got used to him... However it hasn't stopped its annoying.. It frustrates Tyler. He has tried to "bond" with him by walking him and taking him in his room and playing but as soon as he comes in from work or being with friends he does the same thing growling and barking. Does anyone have any ideas to help... Tyler leaves in a week so we will have to go thru this again in a month or so!

I'm not really sure what to tell you. Leila does the same thing to my 22y/o son when he visits. She absolutely adores him! But will bark at him if he's not giving her attention. You might want to teach yours "speak", then teach "quiet" and see if that helps.

I would live to have an answer to this one too! Benni barks at both of my kids..both in college...every time they enter a room, or come upstairs...once the barking fit is over...he settles down but then they leave and reenter the room...setting off a new round of barking
