My sweet six-month old Luca has turned into a wild animal. Luca use to be a cuddly little ball of fur. He was calm and sweet and loving. Where did that dog go?

Now he barks like a rooster at the slightest thing (including other people), he does not like to get on our laps, he jumps like crazy. Everything is a game to him and when he's in trouble, he runs around the house like a tornado. He has even started biting us again. What has happened? He is neutered, but that didn't help at all. Did anyone else have this issue? Will it pass? What shall I do? I would love ideas or reassurance.

I feel like this is a completely different dog and I miss my loving Luca.

That's Gustave too 8-9 everyday! Just teenage months. Yes, it will pass. In about 4-5 months, lol.

Keep your training consistent. He's just testing his limits and rebelling.

Forgot to add, we have limited Gustave's area to only half the living room and we enforce it when he's being crazy. I think it's much easier for all of us this way.

I too agree that it will pass. They go through stages and he is still a puppy. Hang in your little boy will return.

Oh My Goodness I Read Your Post And Thought It Was Something I Wrote-Word For Word. Same Thing With My Yogi Hes 9mo old. I Never Knew They Were So Much Work-But When We Cuddle Late Its All Worth.
With Each Day He Destroys More And More. But I Dont Care-Hes Just A Baby.

Maltese Being My First Pup Ever Really Hard To Work With-Iam Just So Easy Going That I Think He Rules Me. But I Look At All These Sites And Know Its All Worth It....Luca Is Adorable!!!!!!!
