I am so sorry. I know how you exactly what your feeling with losing my furbaby. I truly am sorry. Just give him the all the love you have. You never know if things could turn around. I never give up hope. Hugs to you and Roo!

Jackie, I am so sorry about little Roo. It is so hard when there doesn't seem to be much that you can do.
My little Molly had Cushings and also very low sodium levels, and it is my understanding that it is a very rare combination. The drugs for Cushings would have been too much for her, so we had to go with supplements. We went to see a holistic vet, who prescribed some supplements (including melatonin). She did great for a few years, and made it to age 15. I don't know if you are open to the idea of supplements or holistic veterinary medicine, but I can tell you that it made a huge difference in how she felt. I probably would not have gone this route myself, except that I had no other option. I would be happy to give you more details if it is something you are interested in.
I hope that Roo is feeling okay and that you are able to enjoy time with him.

Sad news. . . our Bo had Cushings we elected also not to treat as he had a terminal fibrosarcoma in his mouth that had reoccured. I wish more could be done to help your baby---you and he have fought valiantly. May God wrap His loving arms around you!
