Default Advice needed

Hi my puppy is called Bilbo and is 13 weeks old. He had his 2nd injection last Saturday. Then developed diarrhea. Taken to vets and currently taking Anti botics and on special food. Taken Bilbo back to vets yesterday as seemed in pain and was shaking. Of course when at vet did not shake.Lol. vet checked him over and he.did show some discomfort when he pressed his lower back by his tail. Vet said he could have knocked his back when playing so gave him a injection of anti inflammatory. He now seems to be sleeping alot then wakes and plays for a few minutes then goes back to sleep
I don't know if this due to the medication or he is in pain or bored. When someone comes round he is very lively and happy to see them
once gone he just goes back to sleep.

What injection did he have exactly? Did they give him a combi vac? Did the vet give him fluids for the diarrhea or does he drink lots of water on his own?
Shaking is usually pain related but could also be low blood sugar---how much does he weigh?
13 wk. old puppies play hard & sleep hard/& often---that is normal. If he isn't playing that would be strange because that would be normal.
What kind of anti inflammatory is he getting?

My question had to do w/the initial vaccine---was it a combi?
There is no way he could be 13 wks and weigh 15 kg??? I would really be worried about him then.

Combination vaccines are very risky for our fluffs....

Maltese are sensitive, and so it's recommended you ask for separate vaccines, not combo ones, and that you space them apart.

I hope he is okay and recovers....

Lepto is notorious for bad reactions unless you get the newest one out---and it isn't risk free, just a bit less offensive, I think. I haven't tried it yet (new one) though so am going on hear-say. My Lisi had an anaphylactic reaction to it last spring. And, yes, that is a lot for a fluff that is only 1.5 Kilos. Give him a couple of wks. to recover & make sure he stays hydrated.
