She's out of surgery. He says she did great. They will keep her til 4pm. Want her up and all that. They gave her glucose w her fluids to help her blood sugar.

She will be coming home w a narcotic since the usual pain med is not safe for her liver. He wanted me to be prepared because it makesthem sleepy

Ok... Off to do errands until I can get her

It's like a huge cloud has lifted.

I'm sure little Gracie will be pooped from the surgery and the drugs but she'll be in mommy's arms and with her brother. Can't wait until you get her.

Yay Gracie! I'm so happy everything went well and you can somewhat relax. I know I didn't fully relax until she was back to my Sophie the next morning, but she did it and her blood tests were healthy!
