Gracie's sugery tomorrow (Monday 1/14) - Maltese Dogs Forum : Spoiled Maltese Forums

Okay, posting this now because I know I won't have any time in the morning, and I'm going to try to sleep sleep sleep this afternoon.

I'm actually glad I have some Grace-E-collar testers (like the name? LOL)

lined up because it will give me something to do. I will stop into the fabric store after she is out of surgery and waiting to pick her up... I love fabric so it will help ease my mind LOL

We have to be there by 7:45 tomorrow... I'll be sitting with her until he's ready for her, then waiting until it's over... I'm thinking she is first since she requires special anesthesia, staff, and monitoring. Also because they know I'm waiting LOL They seem to want to not have to have me wait long (normal drop off/check-in is 7am). The tech called today to confirm and said they were setting up for her this afternoon, which is nice to hear.

She's getting spayed and having her front twisty dew claws removed. Her labs were really good so I feel confident she will do well... just Mommy nerves.

Prayers are greatly appreciated

I sure know how you're feeling. It sounds like Gracie has a good, conscientious vet who will take good care of her. I'll be thinking of you both!

Shellbeme, out of curiosity, how old is Tucker? I was wondering how old pups are before you need to consider having any remaining puppy teeth removed.

I'll try to update during the day but may or may not until we get home. Since the vet is all the way on the other side of town... may be awhile. I might email someone here to update for me if I can't get good internet out there...

I'm going to try... Will run a few errands and try to rest in the van. It's a drive so sitting there all morning then coming home and going back is silly.
