I bought one container of Rachel Ray dogfood today....Lamb stew. No meat by-products or fillers...I want to mix a little with her dinner tonight and see if she likes it. Has anyone else tried it?

No, so far I have not tried it...I would have to check it out to see all of the other ingredients and the protein level. All four of our animals eat Blue BUffalo and have been doing very well on it.
I just went into the website for Rachel Ray's Nutrish and then into the Dog Food Advisor website. It is not rated all that good and has some things that is questionable in it's ingredients. Personally speaking, there are far better dog foods that you could look into. Last edited by Snuggle's Mom; 01-14-2013 at 01:54 PM. Reason: read article on dog food advisor |

The Petcos near us have Merrick canned and also Wellness.
Are you familiar with the dogfoodadvisor.com site? They have reviews by brand, and also some good info about what ingredients are good and what to watch out for. I find it very helpful. The choices are so ovewhelming.

I did not know that she had it either. She is just getting into everything these days.

It is overwhelming...very much so. Rachel Ray has no meat by products, no corn, no wheat and no soy. So I guess that's good, right? and no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives...

Here is the link for the review in case you would like to read it:
Rachael Ray Nutrish Dog Food Tubs | Review and Rating Looks like there are some ingredients in it, like pea protein, that are not the best. You can also use this site to search for the top rated canned foods.
