Bedding Washing - Maltese Dogs Forum : Spoiled Maltese Forums

I wasn't sure if I should put this here or in the grooming. Any suggestions on what to use to wash my baby's bedding for her kennel. She has only had 2 accidents since we have had her in the last 21 days, and both times i just washed all her bedding in the washer with our clothes soap and fabric softner. I know their noses are more sensitive and just curious if there is something else i should be putting in the wash to get rid of the smell for her.

I just wash all my doggie towels and bedding in normal clothes detergent and fabric softener but I always purchase unscented/hypoallergenic variety deteregent and softener anyway. Both my husband and I react and get rashes from the scented versions in the summertime when it's hot out and we get sweaty doing farm chores.

I Wash All of Yogi"s Things togeher in one load. just use all my regular products.
i think i have been lucky because all seems to be o.k.-No Kind of re-actions to what i use. Nickee In Pa*

When Gustave was a puppy we would first spray anything he had an accident on with Nature's miracle (keep for 10min) and then wash it with our regular detergent, Method.

I wash my dogs stuff(toys blankets, pillows) separately. Having 4 dogs, it's always enough to make a load. I use my fragrance free Tide.

I wash all of Bella's things, bedding, blankie, toys, sweaters once per week in its own load...I just use good 'ol Tide.
