Default Desi's first vet visit

Desi went in for her first check up. She weighs 5.9 lbs. Heart and lungs sounded great. Heart worm and fecal negative. Blood work came back normal. She has 8 teeth and they all will need to come out. Poor baby. She was a really good patient. No nipping, groweling or biting. She must be in such pain. Her dental will be this coming Tuesday. She's on antibiotics right now. She is adjusting to the other fluffs. She walked around the house last night. She followed me and the other guys. When I sat down to watch tv my babies all jumped up on my lap like the normally do and she looked up at me as if to say what's going on. She's just not sure about being picked up yet. So she laid on the floor. I had put a doggy pillow down, but of course she laid next to it. My dh came downstairs and was able to pick her up and put her on my lap. My kiddo's didn't mind that she was there and she laid there until bedtime. What a sweet baby she is. Today was her first day of being without us at home. She cried and barked when I put her into her x-pen. Tonight I am going to try to take her out in the yard to potty on her leash.

Desi says thanks buddy. I look forward to feeling better. Not that I'm looking forward to have my teeth pulled, but anything will be better than this. We'll virtual recup together. Love to you Yogi, Desi

It sounds like Desi is in pretty good health other than her teeth. She'll feel better with them gone. I'll be praying for her!

Thats great news that she is good health and spirits. To bad about her teeth, but will be fine for the procedure. You are a good mommy
