I'm sure that "this too shall pass" I couldn't resist! Hoping Pipper will be OK! Dewey chewed the wood cover that covers screws off a table leg, yesterday!! I got it out of his mouth, and removed the other ones from the other chairs!!

I had a near such disaster yesterday. I noticed the cat was batting something around on the other side of the baby gate in "cat town" and before I could go investigate he batted it under the gate into the kitchen where Ivy immediately snatched it up in her mouth. I leaped on her in a panic and was able to get it out before she swallowed it; it was a wooden "button" that goes over screws in paneling to keep the screws from showing.

It can happen to anyone's fluff and happens so fast. WHEN do they stop putting EVERYTHING into their mouths?! I hope your little baby does fine and this too will pass. But see what your vet wants you to do.

Thank you but she really isn't green. Everytime I take a photo of her in my office (where she is usually on my lap because I'm on the computer, as in this photo) she looks green because of the fluorescent lighting in here. Maybe she was really born in Oz rather than TN...

Kathy, I'm sure everything will be fine with Pipper. They do like to keep us on our toes, huh? If you hear random squeaking then you definitely know the toy had one. I'm sure it will pass. Keep us posted.
