Red Paw?

As I've mentioned in another post my Maddie's has a red paw from two deformed toes after breaking them as a puppy and them growing wrong.

I've noticed on a couple different posts that people have mentioned excessive licking which is leading to a red paw.

Is there anything to do to get her to stop licking or stop the redness? Everyone is horrified when they see her paw.

I can't find my camera cord or I'd post a picture.

Gus is a licker....

I have to keep a cone on him at night (or if I'm not home) during high allergy season.

I also sometimes wrap his foot (petflex and gauze) if it's really bad, or put a sock on it.

We buy Petflex (vet wrap) by the box....

Emu oil and aloe helps his feet, but the sock or wrap helps keep it on.

Does licking their paws and chewing on them always mean it's allergy related. Rocky madly chews on his back left paw, I noticed Tucker started chewing on his back right paw.
