I am having an awful time trying to be relaxed about Molly's spay. I just don't want to hand her over to let them do it.
Please say some prayers for her tomorrow that all goes ok if you think of it.

I'll be praying for you and sending paw-sitive energy your way. I remember when I took Bella into be spayed. I have known my vet very well for years but I am sure he and everyone that works for him thought I had lost my mind...LOL. I was extremely anxious. Your feelings are normal but I know you won't feel ok until you have Molly back in your arms and she is acting like her old self.

Would staying with her until she's sedated help?

Grace's vet let me sit with her until she was sedated (shot)... and that was so helpful for me. I got to cradle her while she fell asleep, so I knew she wasn't stressed out and upset when they took her back.

But I'm sure Molly will do great. Will send up some prayers for her

these things never get any easier for us. I just went through a first dental with mine. I'll be thinking of sweet Molly. Try keep busy and she will be home before you know.

Molly is so cute.

Its normal to feel nervous! But, we will be thinking of you and Molly tomorrow as she goes through surgery. Just think of how relieved you will feel tomorrow after its over! :hugs:

I have to take Gucci on the 7th and I am PETRIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!
I know they are fine afterwards, but I am still worried.

I will be thinking of you tomorrow and please try and stay relaxed for you and as well as little Molly. All of us here on SM have been through very similar situations when it came time for us to have our little Malts Spayed/Neutered. Molly will be just fine and I know that your Vet has Molly's best interest at hand. I know that there will be more posts that will encourage you to stay calm and try to keep busy during the day.

Lifting Molly up in prayer, and you as we'll. I know it's frightening, but it will be over and done with, and I'm sure she'll be fine!
