The vet recommended a supplement called UBAVET Power Meg for Pipper to hopefully prevent any symptoms from his luxating patella. It has glucosamine hcl + omega 3 fatty acids. Is this a good supplement for him.

I haven't heard of it but it probably might not be a bad thing for Pipper. Glucosamine and Omega's are good. Did the vet say what benefits there are from him taking it? I would do some research beforehand and then make a decision.

Vet said the glucosamine will help delay or possibly prevent the onset of arthritis and the the omega is good for the skin and coat. |
