My four do it and I love it. For me its one of the best moments in the day: when my fluffs are all over me!! Nothing better than that!

Zoey does the same thing. On the shoulder when ever she gets a chance. At night she has to have her nose touching the bridge of my nose. don't know why but i guess it makes her feel safe.

Yep same here, my little parrot. Plus he has his own pillow in my bed but slides down to mine every night. Lately he is sleeping on my knees which I prefer, I hope he stays that way.

This is normal behavior for a Maltese..they are lap dogs...they want to be as close to their humans as possible..whenever I sit down, all 3 of mine are in my lap...2 of them sleep with me and both of them are on the pillow or right next to it...

How precious!
Neither of mine do that though. Lisi slept on my face when we first got her, but now she doesn't. I kinda miss it.

Ahh yes I love it so much. I've been reading up on it more and as a few of you have said, they just like to be as close to their Mommas and poppas as possible! I just love it! Yet another reason maltese are unlike any other breed I've ever known! My fiancé is hooked he wants another pup (: he wants a boy to be his little buddy! I say no until we have a larger place AND until khloe is grown more, as she is used to having all of everyone's attention... Little booger
