Okay guys, following on from my thread yesterday, i'm now looking for advice on the best age to get Sammy neutered. He will be 7 months old in a few days so when would you suggest?
Also how expensive will this be, obviously I'll pay whatever it is but I just like to be prepared and organised about these things

He's actually ready now Laura. I had bloodwork done first and then the neuter, I think 55.00 for bloodwork and 125.00 for the neuter. I think??

I think you are probably looking at about £100-£150 im sure Maizys spay and tear duct flushing was about £230-£250!
I didnt have bloodwork done before although possibly should have.....

I had Pipper neutered when he was 5 months. I wanted to get him done before he started male habits. I like that he squats to pee. It cost me over $300. Everything seems to be more expensive here in Canada.

Ohhh, Riley is 18 weeks and I've only had him three. I'm not ready to think about that at 5 months. Maybe 6 or 7.

I just wasn't sure of what age was best to get it done for him. I love his puppy stage I know alot of people aren't so keen on that stage but he's always making me laugh.
