Deborah, that's what makes t great - somehing new, that will allow him to go with you bye-bye. I'm sure you will love it.
I would take Dewey out immediately. Do not try to stuff him there at home - he will try to escape, lol...stuff the fluff inside and go out shopping. Try the TJMaxx - you can put Dewey inside of the cart in a case he wriggles too much. He should behave a bit different once he's outside of the house. And please take the camera - we all would love to see little Dewey on his first shopping trip ![]() I know I can't wait.... |

Kandis, there are definitely doggie purses out there for doggies up to 12 pounds. My Juicy carriers will all carry up to 12 lbs. It's more about the lenght of the body and the style - if you want the fluff's head to be out, or if you're looking for closed type where you can still unzip the top and the fluff can sit and look out. I'll try to take some pics of mine.

The purse is suppose to fit fluffs up to 7 pounds. Dewey weighs almost 5 and Laurel weighs 6. I put Laurel in it also, and she hated it, but she fit fine. When ever I put Dewey in a soft sided crate, to take him to the vets, he would move around so much from one side to the other while carrying him. In the purse, they have room to lie down and they can put their head up or you can zip them cliosed. It's like when you hold them in your arms. There are two large inner pickets for your wallet, keys, leash . Mine would fit my I Pad. I sound like a commercial! LOL just hope Dewey or Laurel get used to it.

And the puppy in it is just adorable... did he come with the bag too?

My two get super excited when they see the doggie bag. I would leave the bag on the floor so they can smell it. I'm sure when you take them out a few times to do fun things they will make the connection and get super excited the next time they see it.
