Sleepy Habits
I thought i would ask if anyone elses little furbaby have sleepy habits. Like my little Zoey when she is really really sleepy she starts to lick her paw. It is never the same one but she licks it for about 5 mins before she falls the sleep. The only way i can describe it is a baby sucking her thumb. So do any of your babys have some type of habits that you noticed?

When mine get sleepy, about 1/2 hour before bedtime, they quit running around like maniacs!! The barking is half hearted, if they hear a noise, and they all just lie around! I'm usually yawning at this time also!! I don't need a clock to tell me it's bedtime, I just look at the fluffs!!

Every night, around 10 pm, Leila comes to sit at my feet, looks up at me, and gives a little yap. I pick her up and ask if she's sleepy, then carry her upstairs. As soon as I open the crate door, she about leaps from me to get inside and then snuggles down in her little bed. She done the same some during the day too when she's ready for a nap.

My maltese Kiss does the same thing and i don't need an alarm clock because by 6 am shes already barking and yapping at my door!!!

My girls just find a quiet corner and lay down and go to sleep if I'm not moving towards bed fast enough.
The funniest thing I ever saw, though, was my first Maltese, Samantha. My nephew and his wife were over, and it was after 10 pm which is way past bedtime. Sam went up the stairs to the bedrooms, then turned around and lay on the top step and barked at us! She was telling us it was her bedtime!
