I was gone again yesterday but my girlfriend was home since she had the day off. She told me that even though she was home Louie spent most of the day in the window watching for me. Louie is never in the window when I am home inside, only when I go out without him he looks for me. He also still didn't eat even treats with her home while I was gone.

Leila has started doing that too. But I thought it was because she's starting to slow down with her eating. Maybe she's missing me too.

Oh Jerry, Steve is the same way. I just say his world stops turning while I'm away. My husband says when I'm gone he just mopes around like a little Sad Sack. I used to worry about it but it's actually kind of nice b/c he doesn't get into trouble while I'm gone either (I don't crate him anymore when I leave).

Bella does this too, when we leave in the mornings she has food and water. Sometimes she eats and sometimes she doesn't. I just make her dinner for her when I get home and she eats it up. I put some kibble back in her bowl and sometimes later in the evening she will eat a little more of that. I was concerned at fist like you but like everyone says if they are hungry they will eat
