I'm just curious, do your fluffs have much belly fur? Louie has almost none and it hasn't filled in at all. His chest and the rest of his body are completely covered but his belly/groin area has very little fur, just pink skin. The skin itself looks like its in good health but in the time I've had him the belly has never grown much fur and I haven't really seen any other Maltese bellies to compare it to.

Jerry, it's good that you are so conscientious about your beloved Maltese - that's a good trait! It's also comforting to know he's normal!
Hope you are doing well. I hope you are able to find some help for your own health issues. There is help out there, just need to run into the right person to introduce you to them. Praying for you my friend......

Zooey has hair on her belly. It's thinner than everywhere else, but she's still pretty hair if I don't keep it trimmed.

Thanks everyone,
Louie does help keep my mind off my health issues. At home I try not to think about it much and Louie is a great distraction. Of course sitting in different doctors offices, blood work and all that other fun stuff makes it hard to put it in the back of my mind and I sit there wishing I was home with Louie. I totally understand how he feels, if he left I'd be in the window watching for him and not eating too. It seems the only use he has for my girlfriend is at night when its bed time, he sleeps on her side of the bed.

Actually its my girlfriend that snores like a drunken bulldog. I've had to go sleep on the couch more than once to get away from the noise. Moving from one side of the bed to the other doesn't help with the amount of noise she makes, I think the windows even shake. When I'm home I can't even go to the bathroom without Louie. If I close the door with him outside he freaks out. When I do have to leave without him I plan everything around me being able to stop back every 3-4 hours to let him out and check on him. When I do call home one of the first things I ask is "how's Louie doing?" I know she tries to get Louie to calm down, play, eat, etc but she doesn't have much luck with anything other than letting him out to do his business.
