Hey all of you w/long eared pups---how do you keep them from getting their ears in their food when they eat each day? Lisi's ears are getting so long that she is always a mess between food in the ears & her tear stains!
I am losing this battle!

Can you loosely tie them back behind her head at just the hair part into a bow or something while she eats? I'm visualizing tie the long part of the hair from each ear tied together somehow.

I just came up w/an idea as I need something easy & quick---Liesl's face is tiny so I will try to cut a nylon stockinet to size to hold the ears back.

Sandi, Laurel's ears are long, and I've been using a small saucer to feed her. Her ears go on both sides of the saucer, but not in the food.I do sit by her when she eats, or (the Yorkies would steal it from her, ) She eats so slow, and they gobble theirs.

Sandi, all 3 of mine eat from stainless steel bowls that are barely 4" across and just about 1-1/4" deep..all of my girls have long ears...this works well for us..I bought them at Petco..

I use Lola's sweater like a snood. Start to put her sweater on then just stop over her eyes. I am amazed she leaves it on lol
