Over the weekend went to the winter woofstock in Toronto. Had a great blast...but was kinda sickend to my stomach by some dog owners. There were some fatalities as well. A woman was walking her chiuahiua on an escalator and the dogs paw got caught in it

another dog small maltese was stepped on and heard that the dogs paw was broken

other people were walking these small dogs and some were dragging it by its neck and you could clearley see that these small pups were scared to death by the crowd and other bigger dogs! I have a stroller for my three , and boy it works out to so many advantages to owning one..... !!!!!!

Oh my, who in the world would let their dog walk on an escalator. She could have just held on to it.

One would think so. Alot of people on facebook on the woofstock page were all saying the same thing. The volunteer there told me it was soo gross and really heartbreaking!

OMG- how horrific for the little dog.

My neighbor (human) got her toe stuck in an escalator a few months ago and she said it hurt like crazy. Sent chills down my spine so can't imagine a poor pup. I went to a couple of pet expo type things and am horrified that people bring their smaller dogs (and even bigger) because the places are zoos. Way too many people and everyone's looking at what's around and not at all where they're going. Very dangerous and a stroller or carrying is the only way to do it.

Oh my, I would of been horrified!! What is wrong with people????? Yes, I agree hold your fluffs, use a carrier or a stroller!

I know a lady that sell strollers at a really really great price! She was there and she said some people walked past her venue making stupid comments. I told her she should hand out a flyer with a 101 good reason why to have a stroller!!!!

check out woofstock on facebook and you should see some of the comments of pet owners. It was a crazy event! my poor friend with her chiuihuia she had him in his stroller, and this woman come out of no where and picks him up with out her permission. I went postal :-} the nerve of people today

I was debating going to Woofstock this year, but the boyfriend and I decided that Teddy wasn't ready for the big crowds just yet. I was also really worried about her being around the bigger dogs - a stroller for next year is a really great idea.

I can't believe the nerve of some people. Do they not realize that tiny dogs are fragile and should be treated with extra care. *Sigh*

Katya....you need to go! trust me ! the summer one is bigger and better than the winter one. but we had so much fun. Its been tradition ......
for strollers check out for Shannon........ Pawsitively k9 she sell amazing strollers for so much less than others! Check out facebook on woofstock and see the people that did buy a stroller from her. Princess the Yorkie..... got one we see her every year. also Shannon has a facebook page as well!!!
