you carry a spare pee pee pad in your purse.
Haha! I was just getting ready to go to the store and was putting something in my purse when I saw one in there. Unused, of course! I had put it in there when I went to visit my mother the other week. Since there's no place to put my purse at work, I don't even carry one. So, I don't take one with me much anymore and had forgotten the pad was in there. What's something you've done that most people might not do or don't do with a bigger dog? |

I carry mine around in my arms, sure can't do that with a big dog!! Sometimes I carry two!! Plus I got a new puppy purse, couldn't see one big enough for a big dog!!! I can pick up dog poo with a little bit of toilet paper, instead of a pooper scooper!! My neighbor with the .bouvier uses a coal shovel!!!

I suppose it's not just for small dogs, but I did find a nylabone in my purse the other day. I wouldn't want to find a big dog bone in my purse. LOL I felt like a real mom finding a pacifier. : )

But Pee pads can come in handy!
They can protect your car seats if you buy something that might get them dirty.... and if you spill something you can sop it up .... LOL everyone should carry one!

Y'all are cracking me up!
![]() Yes, a pee pad does come in handy! One day when we were in the car, Leila started doing her hysterical spin in her carseat and wimpering. I just happened to have a clothes basket with a pee pad in it with me. I pulled over and put her in it and she immediately went potty and didn't fuss at all again when I put her back in her carseat. So that really came in handy! I didn't have to get out of the vehicle, put her leash on, and risk getting us hit by a car. I hadn't thought about using one for the uses Grace's mom mentioned, but those are great ideas! I may use one under the food we're taking for Thanksgiving in case something sloshes out. Thanks for the suggestion! |

![]() Oddly enough, we just found a new car to lease and realized we'll have to clean out the old one soon. I looked down next to my seat on Saturday and noticed something blue -- unmistakably a wee wee pad (unused of course). I'd better remember to take it out ![]() I can get Tyler on the subway or city busses; can't do that with a large dog.
