Both my boys ended up with middle names.
Tucker somehow is Tucker Bean, and I call him that or Tuck Tuck, and then Rocky is Rocky Muffin. Don't ask, it just happened ![]() Between Paris and Beauty, I would pick Paris, however I think Paris Beauty is a wonderful first and middle name combo

Hmmm...I can't help thinking of Paris Hilton, so I don't really like that, besides Paris is a boy's name...as in mythology.
Beauty has some appeal. I am currently reading an Ann Rice trilogy in which the main character's name is Beauty....um....again not something I would want to label my baby with. If you don't mind being reminded of the Hilton brat...then Paris is a cute name. Personally, I would keep thinking. Oh, we (DH and I) want to name our next puppy Lise...from Lise Charmel, designer of drop dead gorgeous French lingerie. Or Charmel? Beauty is a pretty name. Paris is a pretty name. They both have associations I wouldn't want to be attached to my baby. Paris strikes me as just too common for an elegant Malt...common today thanks to that Hilton brat. I trust you will let us know what you decide. Google Lise Charmel and give it some thought...elegant, French and unique.

I had a name picked out for both Addison and Jackson before I picked them up. But after spending a couple of days with them, we decided the names didn't fit. Jackson was originally Abraham, then Chase, but Jackson or Jack fits him perfectly...he's my little Jackpot. Addison was originally Sunny. But she's so pretty we decided she needed a more regal name. Good luck with your new baby, they're such little angels.

I would go with Paris as I like that name better. Not much for beauty. Sounds too much like a horses name for me.

Both names are nice and I'm sure that either would work well.
![]() BUT -- you'll probably not end up calling her either one. Lacie's name is Procelaine Lace (hence the call name Lacie) -- but 99% of the time, I call her Ooodie Booodie. Don't ask me why -- I haven't a clue, but that's what I call her. ![]() ![]() You'll find yourself doing something similar. |
