I'm getting a female, I have already purchased a pink collar with rhinestones and crown charm with matching leash along with a pink brush... everything I'm picking out for her is very girly, pink, black and white and elegant damask pattern for her crateware.
So I chose the name Paris because it fits how fancy I want her to look and in my opinion is girly and cute for a Malt. A few minutes ago, I received pictures of what may be my puppy, her name is Beauty. So now the war of the names take place. Which do you like better? Paris OR Beauty or maybe keep both, Paris-Beauty?? |

How old is your baby? If she is young, you can name her anything you want. If she is registered under the name Beauty, you can incorporate the name Paris into that. My feeling is that you can see her first in person and make your decision. I got my Daisy Grace when she was 4 mos old and her name was Maizy--that's a cute name, but she just didn't look like a Maizy to me. She has answered to Daisy ever since. My Mother-in-law rescued a fluff that was 4 years old named Baby and she calls her Angel. Just keep your "Bling" and see what happens!! Whatever you name her, I wish you many happy years of puppy love and hugs!!

I think both names as really cute! You could just keep both if you'd like. My sister's dog has two names, I've always called him "sugar" and my sister calls him Kiko. He responds to both the same

You hear the name Paris quite a bit, but not the name Beauty. I would go with Beauty.

I like both names but I would only choose one if it were me. I think I would pick Paris.....you can change the name on the registration papers even though she was given a name already. How exciting it is waiting for your new puppy. Can't wait till you post pics of your furbaby.

I think I would name her Paris Beauty and call her Paris. Congrats on getting a new fluff! It's so much fun to buy all the little girly things! My last little one (a yorkie) was a boy and I couldn't find as many cute things. We have a female lab, which really belongs to hubby, and he kinda keeps her neutral, although he did let my daughter and me put a pink Carolina collar on her. So, I'm having a ball with dressing up Leila!

I remember you were looking for a breeder day before yesterday.... now you found a puppy! Wow, that is fast!
I hope it is a good breeder! They usually have wait lists.... or at least don't send puppy photos and promises of puppies out that fast... I thought anyway. Please be wary of puppy mill brokers... Anyway. I like both names Beauty reminds me of Sleeping Beauty... her name was Aurora Dawn. Paris reminds me of the city.... Lots of fun things there. You could combine them... Paris Beauty.... her nickname might be PB

Congrats on your soon to be Maltese! I honestly think Paris is much more masculine than Beauty. If you want ultra feminine, go with Beauty. Paris is actually traditionally a boy's name (like in Greek literature) but people like Paris Hilton have only recently popularized it more as a girl's name. I say you meet her first and see which one she fits in person
both are cute names though!
