What a Day!!
Needed a rant... so I am really bad at picking out gifts and even worse at mailing things (especially on time..
 ) and so after picking out some SS gifts, I realized I should have looked at my questionnaire more carefully while at the store... so I was going to go exchange them last minute today, since I didn't work til 5pm. No problem, right?Wrong!  Today of all days, we thought Lisa might have a UTI. She seems to have a small bladder and isn't as good as Ozzie at holding it, but the past few days she has REALLY had trouble holding it and has had more accidents, usually RIGHT before taking her out or not long after she had just been taken out... but also she has been peeing multiple times when taken out... Anyways, I had work at 5 and the bf left for work around 2, and when Lisa peed right after we had taken her out (and she had peed TWICE) I knew I had to take her to see a vet. And I realized I would not have time to exchange the SS gifts  Took her to the animal hospital where she was first taken by Dog Patch (the receptionist admitted her and her husband had wanted to adopt Lisa LOL) and didn't have to wait too long thankfully, but Lisa wouldn't pee for them, of course So I have to get a urine sample and head in tomorrow before work at 9... did I mention my bf has National Guard this weekend so he'll be gone and I work 9-5 Sat and 1-5 Sun Bahh!!Anyways, luckily there is a USPS right across the street from the library I work at, so was able to send it off (hopefully..)! I did the self service machine, but I hadn't done it before so I hope it goes through... I just put the sticker on the box and wrote my SS buddy's address and wrote my address on the box... More apologies for the HORRIBLE "wrapping" job, if you can call it that... sigh....!!!!

Aww... Courtney... I'm sorry you had a rough day.
Tomorrow is a new day.  I hope Lisa is okay. You might try this: UTI-Free? - Natural Remedy for Urinary Tract Infections in Cats & Dogs Look on Amazon it is sometimes cheaper there....

I do too, I put Lisa in the 2nd bedroom instead of her crate while I'm at work in case she can't hold it, but I'm dreading the potential mess she will leave for me in there..!! We had to crate her while we were gone because she would literally destroy the room if we left her.. maybe I will try the bathroom tomorrow... Just wish me luck trying to collect a urine sample...

Sorry things are so hectic right now
. Don't feel bad ~ I'm really bad about mailing things out too. Actually, I'm going to have to wait until Monday to ship out our gift because I couldn't get to the shipping store in time. I'll ship UPS, so it should not be a problem. Especially since our buddy is on the East Coast ...same as us .Keep us posted on how Lisa is feeling.

We would use the lid of one of our smaller tupperware containers and when she squatted we would slide it under her. We would then pour her urine into a zip lock bag. Good Luck!

So far I just got a little tiny bit because Lisa would stop when I tried to get the tupperware container under her and she squats REALLY close to the ground... I really hope it's enough!! I'm also going to leave upside down pads in the bedroom just in case...
