are all Maltese such lickers? Louie won't stop licking once he starts unless you stop him some how and its not always easy to do. Any bare skin he finds, my arms, legs, he licks with out stopping, If he can't find exposed skin he'll lick my pants or shirt.

Sadie is a licker too. Must be a Malt thing :-) I love her "drive bys"... If I am making dinner or getting ready for work she'll come by and give me a lick on my foot or the back of my leg and run away.

Louie must just have a lot of love to express :-)

Louie doesn't run away after a lick or two, you have to run away from him! And heaven forbid you go to the bathroom without letting him in, he cries and paws at the door. If you let him in no matter what you are doing he'll find a way to lick you.

Thanks for your concern. Louie is back to his normal self today. Actually a little more than normal. I think he was saving his energy for today!
