Well, I really hope I get lucky and get a good picture. It's Gucci's first Christmas, so I would like a good pic of it. Maybe I'll bring MY DSLR and sneak a pic just incase

Ok that's very good to know. I may investigate this weekend.. Usually we have a Santa Paws area set up in our mall. Its usually in a back hallway away from the foot traffic and they are there just for our fur children. The cost is usually about $15.00 and all goes to the shelter. Mommies get the picture and the fur child gets a Milk Bone!!

I've had Ava's picture taken there with Santa one wasn't that good, but it's a fun thing to do just to be doing something Christmasy. Also a few local volunteer fire companies offer pictures with Santa with your pet. I used to to them too, never really got a good one, but they were fun to do too. I just like spending time with the "kids", and having their picture taken with Santa was always a must!

One year we did get a really good one and I keep it in my china cabinet all year round! A friend and I took our dogs and opted to get one taken with the both of us and all our dogs (we each had three at the time) - it's still my favorite Christmas picture, it was taken at a local store and the money went to a cat rescue.

Paxton had a Santa photo at PetsMart last year. Paxton did not like Santa at all and he looks scared to death. They used a digital camera and printed the photo on a small photo printer. The color was terrible, but the frame they put it in was cute. But in our case the money all went to the rescue group doing the work, so I didn't mind.

I did PetsMart several years ago. I wasn't real happy with the actual photo, but now that both boys are at the Bridge, I'm glad to have it. It's getting late, but I think shelters, malls, festivals all do Santa shots, with some or all of the price for the critters. Watch you paper or tv for announcements.
