I'm kinda with everyone else. I KNOW that I'm a crazy dog lady and that others will never truly understand (except my SM friends), and I don't care. It's who I am. If you're my friend, then you'll accept it because it's just part of me being me.

If you don't accept it, then you're not really a friend and I don't care what you think. I'm happy and my fluffs are happy too.

Lacie says -- I's not happy. My Mom won't lets me open my Santa Paws pressies.

I would completely ignore their comments or remind them that this is my dog and ill do things MY way! If they want a their own dog, they can do things their way!

Obviously the clothes, bows and grooming are not hurting our babies. Normally, I get positive comments about how cute they are.

If anyone says it about me then they're doing it behind my back. I've never heard any negative comments or funny looks from anyone. Well...except maybe my son, but he likes to tease me about everything. He's 22. But if anyone does think I'm a crazy dog lady, I don't really care because I love Leila and I enjoy dressing her up, putting bows in her hair, spending money on her for fun, etc. What anyone says or thinks about it is their problem, not mine. (And this is coming from someone who used to always worry about what people think.)

I think some it the criticism might have to do with a little bit where you live (not completely I know be jade there are always opinionated people everywhere) but where I live next to nobody truly takes care of their dogs....in the way I believe is appropriate. They are living outside being ignored, not bathed, not played with and probably the majority of them don't care one way or the other if they died or not

it's "country" here where I am and people do not think its cute when I dress my dogs or put bows in their hair. Some girls might but they still think I'm crazy and I could care less lol. If I am in a larger place people think its so cute and sweet but I actually get snide comments about having mine groomed and bathing them weekly and about the food I feed them. People are annoying to me and I could care less in fact I think it's pretty funny. I told some people that I had to shop for my dogs secret santa gifts they were like "WHAT?!" Lol. I don't think my dogs wearing a warm Christmas themed sweater is abuse. The way I see most people treat their dogs would be a better use of that word.

Oh. I'm totally getting "those" looks, now. Especially when I mention that he goes to daycare.

I'll also own it and admit it.....I am totally ridiculous about this dog. Totally lost my mind! Both my husband and I have the time that we once did not have...and the energy for this puppy, and we are loving it!

I have purchased pajamas, jackets, a purse to carry him in, several harnesses, leashes, car seats, a bike seat (so he can go bike riding with me), and I'm not done shopping! LOL!

This time around, I'm just embracing my eccentricity...looks be dammed!!!! LOL!!!!
