My Lily gets car sick when she rides in the car for too long.
The day I brought her home she got car sick but I thought it was attributed to all the changes that occurred that day. Does anyone else's fluffs get car sick? If so what can I do before the car rides so she doesn't get car sick? Please help my poor little Lily.. |

There is a natural liquid you can give them to ease anxiety called Bach's Rescue Remedy. Make sure you get the one for pets, as the one for humans contains alcohol. I have not tried it but know people that have and they say it works. Also, there is something called a Thundershirt that also relieves anxiety. I would research these and give it a try. Shelly's suggestion about a booster seat may also work. Hope you find relief....I know that cannot be easy to deal with. Good luck!

My Coco gets really car sick too.
Poor barfy baby. All though she has a booster seat, the only thing that helps is when I hold her. The front of the vehicle has airbags, so I sit in the back with her. I wrap her in a blankie & let her sit on my lap. She wears a harness & seat belt attachment for safety.

for all the advice I will first try Bach's Rescue Remedy and see it helps . If not, I will try to get her a booster seat where she can see outside the window. Any recommendations on booster seats? I don't think the thunder shirt/vest will help as I have tried holding her and it doesn't help. I am unsure if her car sickness is due to anxiety or just a queasy stomach from the movement.

Daisy gets really sick in bumpy roads which in Ireland is a lot. Smooth roads she is fine but bumpy roads aren't. People her have suggested ginger and peppermint nex time I'm going out going to try it. Others have also suggested thundershirt so think ill invest in one of those too. I know what it's like to sit and watch them be sick it's awful!!!

How do they suggest to give it to them? I might try that and see if it will soothe her little tummy. |

Think Orla milos mum suggested a bit of ginger biscuit or you can get peppermint drops from the vets!! It's awful I almost cry everytime she gets sick. She hates looking out this makes her worse and I can't drive as she just wants to sit beside me!! I can't get into the vets without her beings sick!!!
