Just want to share with you all my experience of flying with my fluff from Houston, TX to Waterloo, Ontario. My first stretch of flight was from Houston to Chicago. The hostess was very kind and let me hold Raya in my kangaroo pouch. Raya slept in my arms very comfortably. I had a one hr wait in Chicago. The second stretch of flight from Chicago to Waterloo was not as good as the first one. The hostess was very strict and I had to put Raya in her carrier, which she totally hated. She whined for sometime and then settled down. I had to produce Raya's health certificate and vaccination certificate both at the houston airport before checking in and also at the Waterloo customs. I carried Raya in a kangaroo pouch inside the airport so both my hands are free to handle my passport and ticket and used a sturdi bag for in-flight travel. Overall there was absolutely no problem at all traveling with my fluff across border

That's great to know. Thank you for sharing.
I am curious, is it a rule that the dogs have to stay in their bags? Why wouldn't she allow you to hold him? Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App |
