I feel this way not only about Christmas but anytime of the year. All I need is my sweet fluff Zoe, my DH and good friends.....it doesn't get better than that.

I agree 100%. A bonus for me is I'm obsessive/compulsive (I don't like the term "on the spectrum") and my little Henry helps give me something routine to do every day. I'm not too bad, most people i work with never know because at 30yo I've learned to hide it. He also gives me someone to talk to when I'm home alone (my wife is in pharmacy school). He always listens attentively and can always make me smile.

Not alone at all. I feel like he was a present to myself who keeps giving every day. Love, fun, warmth. And the best Christmas present I got from my DH last year was a donation to AMA Rescue. At this age i finally know what's important and don't need gifts...I'd rather give less fortunate Maltese the gift of a new life out of a shelter or abusive home.

My 4 dogs bring me so much happiness and laughter, that I couldn't imagine my life without them!!! All I wanted for Christmas was things for the fluffs, or things that made it easier to care for them! I am so blessed to still have my parents, a wonderful husband, two great kids, 3 wonderful grandkids, and the icing on the cake are... Violet, Laurel, , Hardy and Baby Dewey!!! I love you, my fluffy friends!!!!!

Right there with you. Bella is my shining star. I completely love this little girl. We don't have babies on this earth. When I see Bella sleeping with her little head resting on me, or my husband holding her in his arms and she rests her head on her Daddy's chest.... it fills my heart with joy. I never thought a pet could cause that emotion in me, but Bella truly is our little sweetheart (and she is crazy lol).

Nope, it's not just you. No matter what is going on in my house or my town or my state or my country or the world, they always put a smile on my face and overwhelm me with their unconditional love. I have that x's four. I am a very lucky person.

I wake up every morning to three precious white furry faces and adore each one. I feel very fortunate to be blessed with these babies. My sons asked what I wanted for Christmas, I told them my pups are my gifts.
