This time of year, let's all give special thanks that we and our little ones found each other, how much our fluffs need us and how much we need them, that we bathe them in love and attention every day, and they bathe us in love and attention each day. They complete us and we complete them.

Every single day, every time I look into those big trusting eyes, I overflow with gratitude. Those eyes that link to those perfect souls, that link to the ever lasting beauty of life, connect be to the perfection of creation and love every day. Those angels are pure grace. Our babies, our loves.

So well said, Walter. Just tonight as Tyler was playing with my next door neighbor's Skye Terrier, she said to me," I can't imagine life without a dog in it." So true! I had so many years without a pet and now it seems like Tyler's been part of our family forever. Cherish every moment - it's truly a gift and no matter how long or short they're with us, they have changed us for the better.

Uncle Walter - Tyler here. I don't like all this BATH talk. You're giving mommy ideas.

How about showering us in love and affection? Oh wait, that's no better. Grrrrrrrr.

I have had so few years without a dog in my life that I really could not imagine life without them. I only have to look at Lucky to know how (forgive me) lucky I truly am. It is apparent how special he is, except for the time when Luck has paper sticking out of his mouth and has left a trail of shredded paper everywhere, those times I have to remind myself how sweet he is

Tyler, Luck says tell mommy, she shouldn't give you a bath during a blizzard, you need to conserve water in case of emergency.
