SOMEONE WOULD DIE!!! No, really....if someone took my Gucci, I'd go nuts. It would be like the movie "Taken" and I would be even scarier than Liam Neeson...hehe!!
I actually just had my bf install an alarm system on the house since she's home alone sometimes. She'll be microchipped once she goes in for her spay, but that doesn't stop someone from keeping her as their own pet, ya know?? Especially our babies since they are usually expensive. Scary!!!

Right! I just explained to my boyfriend what I would do to someone if they stole my baby Sophie away from me and he told me I was crazy. Well, no one should cross me in that regard. I can't even imagine.

I'm paranoid and if someone asks me what breed Gustave is I say 'Maltese mix', even though he's purebred. Probably doesn't make a difference but I rationalize it makes him sound less expensive than he was.

That reminds me of when I ordered Chinese food and I went to the door to pay and get the food and halo was standing by my ankles. The delivery guy pointed to Halo and said "Expensive!"....I told him no he wasn't expensive and he was a mixed breed mutt. I will be quick to tell anyone he is a mixed breed mutt even though he is purebred

Most dogs are stolen because they are left unattended in public, or in the yard. Why anyone would take their dog in public and leave them unattended is beyond me.

Halo is microchipped but I have family members constantly telling me that if someone takes that dog they are going to keep that dog. I want to put him in a panic room like the movie. I get jumpy when strangers ask questions about him or want to touch him. He is hardly ever left alone.

Yes, and it is crazy letting them go unattended....they are as big as a sneeze. Someone can scoop them up or a hawk can get them. Halo goes out then someone better be there with him. I keep thinking about Jessica Simpson's maltipoo that went outside for a few minutes and was never seen again...OH NO, not my baby!!
