I especially likes Hardy's limbo act, while Dewey and Laurel were pulling on the toy. It must be so much fun at your house.

His daddy, my SO has learned to approach with caution if I'm at my desktop computer. Funny thing is, Axel was supposed to be his Daddy's dog.

My Yorkie is MUCH easier to groom although he has to be bathed more often because his hair is more oily.

I hope to add a female Yorkie to my crew some day. I love both breeds.
Glenda, that story about the toys in the mouth is what Sammie does too. It's so ...Your babies are SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!

I too believe that individuals are individuals, though it seems that internet research generally portrays Malts as the quieter of the two breeds with Yorkies more high energy. But I'm sure there are quiet and high-energy dogs in both breeds. You just have to go visit any potential pups and sit on the floor and get to know the individual dog before deciding to bring them

Watch the Malts play, and check out Hardy!

My yorkie was no more a yapper than my maltese until his later year or two before he died. He was always a sweet boy who loved to snuggle with either a human or another one of our pets. He didn't really eat any more than my malt either. One thing with him though was that he was much harder to housebreak. So, I agree that it just depends on the individual dog's personality.

Those were reusable pee pads being used as a "sled", and Hardy did 'go under the limbo stick" LOL they are fun, and my 2 Yorkies were easier to train than Laurel, but Dewey came house broken.

Debbie,

You need to post more of these videos, they are just great to watch. Your little guys (and gals) are so much fun to watch.

OT: I wish I could get Luck to use reusable pee pads. He refuses and I then the mop has to come out. Although he does't hit the ceiling, walls are also within his range. With disposible pee pads, he just uses them no problem.

With four dogs , disposables were getting pretty expensive, especially since the girls will not pee on the same pad as Hardy!! He would pee on all of them, and I had to keep changing them! They actually make a BIG circle around his pee pad, as not to get too close to it! He must have boy cooties ! LOL!
