Your baby loves you!! I agree with the others, she is still a puppy wanting to play and explore! Before you know it, she'll be on your lap and that is where she'll want to stay!I have 4 that try to get on my lap every evening! We take turns, but usually Laurel wins!!

[Leila & Wilber mommy]

I think we are all there at one point. My Wilber will stay very still and lay with me or be on my lap he is a mama boy. However, Leila is a daddy girl. She loves boys. Specially my brothers. Every time they come by she's the most happy and her tail.., oh lord that tail some times I think it will break. But when is me n her she just wanna play and run around. If I hold her she falls asleep or just wanna out. 🐶🐶🐶

[Maisie and Me]

I am SURE your puppy loves you!! My Maisie is just as you described. She is 3 yrs old and very independent. The only times she cuddles near me is if my other 2 want to be up on the couch. That being said she is not a needy dog in any way, I can vacuum over her head. she is a good eater, not a yapper, always up for a new adventure, never feels the cold ( I don't think she likes body heat) is very, very comical, loves her toys etc. I just think she is very self secure maybe because she was a singleton. She is a happy dog and is content being near me. Now on the otherhand she LOVES to be up high on my husband's shoulder if he is standing up checking everything out. At first I felt like you but I got over it because she is such a joy. She gives tons of kisses and love, just doesn't want to snuggle.
