Hi Everyone, This is Holly's Mom. I haven't been on here for quite a long time! Working second job and Christmas, has had me very busy. I also had an accident and got a concussion and wasn't allowed to be on my computer or watch tv while healing. Feeling much better, but not quite back to myself yet....ugh! Can't wait to get on here in a few weeks and re-connect with everyone

I just saw an ad on Craigslist my daughter told me about and I called the lady to lend some advice. She wants to rehome her Maltese, lives on 4 acres with Cocker Spaniels and her new Maltese isn't working out! I know some here know of Maltese Rescue Groups which might help her find a good family to adopt this little darling. She said she didn't know where to turn to find a good home. I don't know if pup is male or female.

I told her of the dangers of that site and asked her to post something here to find a new forever home for her Maltese. I am just trying to keep this pup safe by trying to help. She lives in Somerset, Ohio. Her email address is: amclark78@aol.com. Her ad below:

Wondering if you should try to email Mary Palmer with info at malteserescue@hotmail.com which is Northcentral Maltese Rescue. They seem to serve the midwest. You might be able to find other small breed rescues in Ohio too. Could you help transport if they needed that? I think they have a FB page so you could also check that out.

Michelle, You are awesome, but you would need to call the number this lady posted and tell her you will help! I do not know her. My daughter saw the ad on Craigslist and wanted to warn the lady not to use that site.

There are three rescues in the area, that I see on petfinder

One is Ohio Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu rescue, I always see Maltese on it.It's in Pataskala Ohio

Ohio Toy Breeds Grove City Ohio

A toy breed rescue in Butler Ohio(I don't know where that is located)

I will try and pass on the info but the lady is not answering her phone right now! One answer actually and then they hung up, so don't know what is up with it.

The email address she gave me came back, so can't verify the address is correct right now. We were just trying to help her and she said she appreciated the help, but now now response... so don't know.

Michelle, I don't know why but can't get this lady to answer the phone now, and the email address is coming back to my inbox. I don't know if I wrote it down wrong or what, but the phone number is the one she listed on Craigslist. We were just trying to keep a Maltese from going to a bad place from that ad.

If you want to try to call the number she listed, that would be great! I always worry about Maltese when they are being rehomed on that site. Prayers for the little sweetie!
