So I love everything to be neat and tidy. I am OCD on my best day
. Bella has always been allowed on the furniture (though it's something I just don't like). Well now she decided to submissive pee over the holidays and night before last, she puked. I mean PUKED A LOT ... on my sofa . She is doing well btw ~ not sure what caused the tummy ache. So, even though the furniture is beyond clean (trust me, we made quite sure of that), I can't stand the thought of more incidents like that. So, over $300 later and I've ordered slipcovers for our furniture. The thing is that I hate the way they look . They are white, but it still reminds me a bit of a big blanket over the furniture. It also changes our entire decorating scheme. Ugggh. Anyway, anyone else had to make tough choices about your fluffs on the furniture? How do you handle "incidents"? BTW, Kandis I am SO hoping you respond because I am in love with your pristine white decorating style!

Even though mine don't have a submissive pee issue, or they haven't thrown up on the couch, I have a neutral looking throw on it. I'm not crazy about it, but I can wash it weekly and if they do have an accident it!s an easy clean up. I would love my big wool area rug back, but sometimes Laurel will go on the rug instead of a pee pad. My house has gone to the dogs! LOL

I'm like Debbie, we usually use throw blankets on the cough because I don't want bully stick slobber on them! When guests are over, I just fold up the throw blanket and it's all good
![]() Not that you want to spend more money, but some companies make FABULOUS slip covers. They do get pricey though ;T |

I highly recommend this product for oooops! on carpets and furniture. It is a wonderful sanity saver and I've not find anything else that works as well:

Thanks you guys. Would you believe I even had dreams last night about cleaning our sofa? Uggh! I'm still uncertain as to what to do with the whole slipcover thing. I really do not like the way they look and am wondering if I might be better off to buy a nicer upholstery cleaner machine and give that a go again. I think the big problem is that I'm a housewife and so I am here all the time. We also live in a small space with kind of an open floor plan, so big yucky slipcovers over our sofa sticks out pretty obviously. To be continued I guess lol....
