Does anyone here use them? I have an area that needs to be blocked at times. It's between my kitchen /eating area and is wide, about 150 inches. I'm thinking about getting two free standing gates, each one expands to about 71 inches. Do they move, if the dogs lean on them? Here's an example of one.

Hi Deb--I Had A Area larger than that-What i did was buy the extra panels to the iris x pen-you get 2 in a box i bought 2 sets--These are great!!
You Can Create any size you want buy just adding a section.2 sets would be just fine for what you need. amazon had the best prices on them--i think it was 22.00 a set. Good Luck. Nickee* Ill Try And send You A Picture-My Camera is acting up .

Good to know, I've never used the free standing before.

That's a good idea. I'm going to be getting a babygate to keep Sammy out the kitchen when i'm cooking, in the next week or two. He's constantly lying on my feet or sitting behind me when i'm cooking and i'm so afraid he'll get burnt with something.

That's one reason I need a gate, when I'm cooking there is always one under my feet, I'm afraid I'll step on one of them. They don't have to be behind the gate all the time, but when cooking, washing the floor, or people over, I need it!

We have this Richell 3-in-1 pen and like it a lot. It's pretty heavy, Gustave has never been able to move it. I also like the flexibility it offers. I can use it as a gate, as a pen, to create 'walls' etc.
