This may not be a scientic study. I had Cleo and Skipper on Wellness (they did have stinky poo's that is why I changed food). But they where on it up till about December well beyond the teething stange since they are close to a year old now. They did not have any tear staining. I thought it was a treat I was giving them causing the staining I have since stoped that and the staining is still horrible. Whenever they get finished with this bag which will be tommrow. I am switching back to Wellness and starting them on Angel Eyes to try and get the staining to go away (I know the hair has to grow out).

Does anyone else have experience with this?

I feed the Merrick's Puppy Plate dry food and sometimes add some warm water to it. I have our furkids and my son's here right now and two have some staining, not real bad. But they both had the staining before I fed the Puppy Plate. I also feed them a canned food, Blue Buffalo Chicken Dinner. I am sorry, I wish I could be of more help. But remember all furkids are different so what may affect one doesn't necessarily affect the other.
