I just wanted to put this product out there for everyone who is very concerned about what they feed their dogs as treats. These treats are small enough for our pups but pack a big burst of flavor. They smell so good when you open the package. They are made with all organic products - that means no pesticides and no hormones.

Hunter's vet said that we should try to eliminate all grains. We have done this but these treats contain no wheat but do have oats - we were a little concerned about this. However, we have been using these treats for about 2 months and there is no itching and no other problems we have had with other treats (with nasty fillers in them).

I also really like them because they have resealable packages. Hubby and I each have one in our car and then we have one in the travel bag and then some in the house - its great! Everything stays fresh and easily identified.

Here is a link to the treats - http://www.fruitablespetfood.com/index.html.

I am no way or shape connected to this product - I just had to rave about it!

Wow! Those look darned yummy. Poor Micky, he'd probably get jealous because I KNOW I'd be snacking on them too...lol

Those look like good treats. The only thing I am personally unsure of is the Potato ingredient. I think I read somewhere that potato is an allergen for some Malts (but not sweet potato). I think London might have a mild allergy to poultry and/or potato, so that's the only reason. I was feeding her Duck & Potato food, then switched to Venison & Sweet Potato and it seems her tearstaining is improving some.

Thanks for sharing - you might like these too..

Thrive Super Treats Papaya Chews - they have to be cut down a little for our fluffs but they are quite chewy and really tasty AND no grains at all.. just papaya.

Izzy gives 'em 4 paws up.

I'm not a vet, of course, but I have not heard of the potato allergy. I have always been under the impression that potato was a great simple starch for animals because it doesn't come in contact with most hormones and pesticides that are introduced to other strains of food. So, I really don't know. But I do know that despite lots of allergies to lots of things (both food and nature) he has done well on these treats. Hunter does have a poultry issue which is why we came off of Duck as well - it was a great switch for us too!

Leslie,

Thank you so much, I actually bookmarked these treats. Hubby and I laughed that they seemed like something we would want to nibble on as well. Once we are out of our current treats I intend to give these a try

These sound really yummy! One question...are the treats soft and chewy or more like a cookie?
