So I've had my dog for a week now, and yesterday was the first time I fed it canned (wet) food, and it gobbled it all down, so I think I realize that I probably should feed him the wet mixed with dry food, or smaller portions of the wet? How often and how much should I feed him canned food vs the dry?
Also, sort of a weird topic, but I noticed this morning when he poopied it was a bit smellier than usual, is that because of the wet food?

[/B][/QUOTE] Not sure if the quality of food makes the poop have less smell. I have fed Bella only the highest rated canned foods (Innova, Blue, Natural Balance, etc) and they all make her poop smell.

Because Tanner is a very spoiled little boy, he only eats wet food. Poo smells like poo to me & he only poops once a day. I feed Frankie a mix of wet & dry, but I have noticed that since I changed the dry food from Pro Plan (that the breeder fed him) to Merrick Grammy's Pot Pie, he doesn't poop as much, but it still smells like poop!
