My oldest son recently transferred to a city near our home. He has to sell his house in East Texas and goes home to mow.
Anyway, to make a long story short there is a person near his house that grows/sells watermelons statewide. They are the best sweetest melons. I cut one last night and and had a small slice. I offered Lexie a small piece to smell to see if she would like it (she loves apples and pears) OH MY that little girl pretty much slurped that little piece right out of my fingers . Lexie LOVED the watermelon . LOL... It was so funny.Of course "Miss Princess" Krystal smelled it and turned up her nose LOL...Krystal does however like apples and pears as a treat. I also offered a little piece to my grandyorkie, Nina. Nina licked it because Lexie wanted it but did want to eat it. It was SO funny (and YES my camera was put up so I did not get a picture).

another watermelon lover over here. I think hunter would eat any fruit though - the only thing he seems not to like it tomato and cucumber with the seeds in it. If I scrape out the seeds he will eat them (oh, lettuce - doesn't like lettuce!).
