As we prepare for our move to Minnesota, I am very concerned about the temperature shock and the fluffs. I remember seeing a wonderful, beatiful snowsuit that was made by PocoMutt. Since she is no longer in business, do you know of anyone else who makes the snowsuits similiar to those? I have seen a few that have detachable legs and hoods, but nothing like the PocoMutt. I have found the shaggylamb website but I don't want to spend $85 per snowsuit if I don't have to.

Thanks!

I live in Iowa ("Warmer than Minnesota, More Fun than Nebraska" ) and my fluff has definately experienced weather shock. He is from Texas and this is his first winter here. I thought I'd share our solution with you until you find your snowsuits.

sweater + coat + doggie socks with toes cut off (ie. legwarmers) + Gooby Epics boots. I love these boots and got a great deal at Wet Nose Boutique! They are having a sale on the Gooby parkas right now, too.

I also use a warmer in his basket when we go on errands. It is a rice bag warmed in the microwave and wrapped in flannel. It is small so he can get off of it if he gets too warm.

Enjoy Minnesota.

Jodi has a snowsuit, it was really inexpensive at Petedge, but the quality is not there, and I'd like to find a cosier one for him. His has more of a nylon lining, which isn't the warmest, he wore a sweater underneath.

I'll check back later to look at the links posted here. If I find something I'll let you know.
