Mia's is custom made by Sheila and I love it. I email Sheila directly b/c I think it is best to communicate w/ the artist directly esp if you want her to custom make something for you. You can either send her a pic of what you like OR, you can ask her to design it. When I work w/ artists, I do not like to dictate things 100%. I want to see what she can do. So, I told her the basic colors and the mood of the bowl..and I gave her full reign to do what she thought was best. I think it worked out well, after all, she is the pro, not I. I also had Sheila design one for Tyler, and I think she did a great job too.

I haven't taken pictures of ones who had custom orders made. I do have 4 different custom orders coming in so I'll take pics of those for you. You can always send me a picture of something you would like to match and I check with the artist to see if it's something she can do.

I liked the swirly design of this one, so I asked for the same thing in light to medium pastel blues with some white in it to add definition among the blues.

I still like it but it's not really like the one in the picture, I guess I was picturing more blues or something. So if you do a custom one and and show what you want it like, just remember that they are unique and will be open to interpretation I guess.

Well, things seem to be going fine with Zippy's now. I was just nervous because I wasn't filling the bowl more often. I am seriously thinking that it was a lot of wasted water dripping from her face. She seems perfectly fine, and the little bowl is designed to be very stable. We love it. :P

Rylee took to the bowl right away. She had no choice because that is all she had to drink from. I have 2 with the swirly design. I bought two for my piece of mind. I didn't want to chance it if something happened and the water was not checked. I washed mine in the dishwasher for the first time and I have had mine for quite a while. I will not do that again I had dirt on the lip and bottom of the bowl. Hand washing is much better.

I prefer handwashing on ceramics plus making sure that there is nothing under the lip of the bowl.
