As promised, here are the instructions to the pet steps that I made. Keep in mind, you can make them any size/height you want. I just gave you the measurements of what I did. All you need is the liquid nails, (a really strong glue in a tube) and the styrofoam insulation. You can cut the foam with a serrated knife or even better, an electric carving knife.

These are the smaller steps. The bottom step is 20" deep the 2nd step is spaced back 10" and it is 10" deep. The total height is 12". The width of the stairs are 24". The foam I bought was 2" thick. I have numbered the layers of foam that I used. On the smaller steps I used 6 layers of foam.

These are the higher set I made for our bed, the others we use in the living room. This is a total of three steps. First one is 30" deep, 2nd one is spaced 10" back and is 20" deep, third one is spaced another 10" back and is 10" deep.
They are 18" high and 24" wide. I used a total of 9 layers of the 2" foam. Hope this all makes sense.

I really like those too. How can I find out how you made them? I'm getting my first Maltese this Friday. I'm sooooo excited!

I checked eBay, and actually had to scroll to the second or third page to find steps made in the US. I am very happy with these. Bounce got used to them right away. They are very well made, as are all things made in the US!
