So - my thoughts on uploading FROM my computer:

Good:
- The thumbnail is a good size
- It saves the attachment (could be good if you lose pictures on your computer)

Bad:
- You can't put the picture where you want it in the body of the post, therefore unable to put little captions for each picture (I'm sure you can with posting from another site)
- Could be somewhat difficult for those that are less computer literate
Ex. I had to go back and delete some of my previous attachments, after I tried to upload the one. To do this I tried to upload a picture, it exceeded the amount of space, so I had the option to "View Attachments". That took me to a page of all of my attachments I've ever put onto the forum. I had about 17 pages and had to delete them to add more.

Just thought I'd share!

Yes, I am going to miss the ability to comment individually on the pictures. I used that a lot, but even more there are some folks around here who tell awesome stories with their pictures (yes Pat I am thinking of you) so this is probably my biggest disappointment (other than losing my friend list) with the conversion so far.

Maybe after you add pics you can go back and add the story lines between them?

I put this in the other thread, but figured I'd add it here too!

For those wondering --> To do it you have to first upload the picture. Then at the top of the Message window Beside the Font/Size to the right there is a little paper clip that has a drop down arrow. Click on that arrow and you can insert the attachment into the body of the message!

Mandy and Maggie figured it out. To learn how, look at this thread:
Can these be 'tweaked'?
