I survived Sandy but the heavy snow of Athena got me - a branch fell off a tree and shattered my skylight.....

Oh gosh that is scary, I hope everyone was alright! I have 2 skylights right above Dewey's x pen. This weather is crazy!! We had warm sunny skies, yesterday with more of the same today.

Linda, sorry to see that. These storms get scarier with everyone. The good side is that this weekend it will be 60 degrees and maybe hit 70 on Monday.

I had Mona Lisa, Cassidy, Lexi and Bella (the cat) in bed with me and BF -my room downstairs- I heard this horrible noise @ 4:10 am - thankfully the skylight is in my upstairs bathroom and not where near where Jake (the puppy was sleeping in the pen) or where we are - so we are all safe. My sons room is right next to the bathroom upstairs - and he is fine as well. There are angels watching over me that is for sure.
